I'm working on a new YouTube video.
To celebrate 175,000 views on YouTube, I’m working on a new video. I’m very excited about getting over 175,000 views from people all over the world and about working on a new video. Over 175k hits comes from three videos. I spent a few hours during a few different weekends making each one. More background info later.
The new video is going to bring together a lot of the...

Trivia? I can hit every note in this video. I can also hit an Eb 2 octaves below middle C.
I might do a YouTube cover of this song if I can get the backing track.
What I’m hoping to do in the next few months is improve my vocal technique and bridge the ranges so they’re both smooth in transition and equally powerful.
Great stuff.
More trivia? Dolly Parton wrote this song. Even more...

The Daily Swarm - If Unpaid Internships Are... →
Great title. There are great internships out there and there are horrible internships out there. In the entertainment industry, more often then not, they’re unfortunately often a joke.
I’ve been fortunate to have some great internship experiences.
Don’t buy into the hype of the “music” industry. Work with people who have your best interest in mind.

Tumblr: Bad for SEO?
Is Tumblr bad for SEO? Why hasn’t Google properly indexed my site? Why do my blog posts show up in normal Google but not in Google Blog Search, Technorati or IceRocket - in real-time or at all?
Tumblr is super easy, has some great features and looks beautiful, but if I can’t be found as easily as someone who uses another blogging service, I don’t know if it’s for me.
I...

MichaelCampion.com (Re)Launches.
Over the next month, I’m going to understand tumblr better, be indexed by google, continue to welcome you to my blog, write about cool things happening locally, and hopefully post some new photos, videos, music etc.
I’m going to post an extended “Why” page that details why this blog exsists. In a nutshell, it’s going to serve as a place to collect inspiration, pass...

Where have I been?
Blogging takes a lot of time. I have a theory about it… that’s another story. I’m sure 90% of the blogs in the world start out strong, but after 10 posts, they fold.
I’ve been so busy having AMAZING conversations about Orchestration and Music Theory, seeing amazing performances, creating instruments, teaching, involved with interesting multimedia projects, etc. - that...
